The art of weaving is woven into the soul of the municipality, with Spanish missionaries noting that the industry predates their occupation. From the Bisaya derivative habol (blanket), Hablon means to completely cover something with a piece of cloth. But the Hablon has proven to suit more than just blankets, with many of our apparel items incorporating the weave. The plain weave has a linen like feel that's also soft on the skin.
